What is MenuPro?
MenuPro is an automated menu design program that allows you to create your own professional menus. It provides you with quick, top-quality designs and artwork saving you hours in layout and design time. Once your menus are created, MenuPro allows you to make instant changes in-house, allowing you to make price changes as market conditions fluctuate or to create daily specials menus every day. Since it was designed specifically to create menus, MenuPro contains features and enhancements that are not available with traditional desktop publishing software.

Why use MenuPro instead of a word-processor or desktop-publisher?
A: Because MenuPro is easier and quicker than using a word-processor. Here's why: MenuPro separates menu text from the style and layout of your menu, so they can change independently. Your menu text goes into a list (or database). Once there you can drag and drop your entries from the list onto a menu on the screen. Do I need special paper to use MenuPro Menu Printing software?
No, you can use any paper from any office supply store or online paper outlet. MenuPro includes the ability to add watermark backgrounds and borders on your menus, so many customers find the need for specialty papers eliminated. However, if you wish to print onto specialty papers, you can easily turn the backgrounds and borders off.

Can I put my restaurant logo and my own images on my menu?
Yes, you can add your own artwork, images, or photos to any menu or you can choose from over 1500 menu clipart and restaurant graphics that come with MenuPro.

Can I use the program at work and also use it at home on my laptop?
Yes, the standard MenuPro CD license allows you to install and use MenuPro on 2 PCs. MenuPro also includes a new backup and restore feature that lets you easily transfer your menus from one computer to another.

What do I do with the menus after I've printed them?
Most of our customers simply slide their menus into menu inserts or use menu covers with clear vinyl panels so they can update their menus frequently. You could also have them laminated or simply include a specials page inside your regular dining room menu cover.

I need to print thousands of menus. Can I take my MenuPro menu to Kinko's for printing?
Yes, MenuPro comes with a built-in PDF creator, which lets you create a PDF copy of your menu that you can then take to Kinko's or send to any other printing service via email for full-color, large quantity printing.

Can I put my Menu on my Web Site
Yes, the same PDF menu that you can take to Kinko's for large quantity printing, can also be posted on your web site or e-mailed to customers or clients. What kind of printer do I need?
You can use any ink jet or laser printer that works with Windows - the better the printer, the better your menus will look. For large print runs, you can create a PDF menu to send out to commercial printers.
